01 YOUR SHEET MUSIC
Personal scores stay private
- Owner-only access: Scores you import or sync are stored in an owner-isolated private database. They are never shared publicly, indexed in search engines, or made visible to other users.
- No copyright claims: We do not claim ownership of any sheet music you import or upload. You retain all rights to your own materials.
- Personal use authorization: You are responsible for ensuring you hold the necessary rights or permissions to import and practice with scores you bring into the app.
02 INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Only what is needed to sync and sign in
- Account details: Email address, hashed password, and account creation/verification timestamps. We never store plaintext passwords.
- Practice profiles & sync: Learner profile display names, random client-generated UUIDs, and practice completion history JSON payloads synced to keep your devices in step.
- Registered devices: Device names you name in the app and signed offline access tokens. You can view and revoke individual devices at any time in your account portal.
- No third-party trackers: We do not embed analytics tracking scripts, advertising pixels, or third-party cookies on our website or within our client applications.
03 DATA RETENTION & DELETION
Export and delete on your terms
- Full ZIP export: You can download a complete ZIP archive of your account data—including your original MusicXML/MXL scores, practice history, and profiles—at any time from your account page.
- Indefinite export availability: If your trial or subscription ends, you can still sign in to export and retrieve your scores at any time without paying.
- Complete self-service deletion: You can permanently delete your account at
/account/delete/ with password confirmation. Deletion permanently erases your account, profiles, scores, sync records, and devices.
- Abuse prevention: To enforce our one-trial-per-person policy fairly without third-party identity brokers, a cryptographic one-way salted hash of your normalized email is retained after account deletion to prevent trial-reset loops.
